Wild Coast Tented Lodge, Yala

The dining at Wild Coast Tented Lodge was nothing short of really good! I was amazed by the gourmet meals served during my stay. Each dish was a good fusion of flavors, and the Sri Lankan options were particularly excellent. With breakfast, a three-course lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner included, I found myself pleasantly full after every meal. The attention to detail in the food presentation and quality was truly Michelin-worthy.

Staying in a Cocoon Suite was a unique experience. The tent had a vintage camping style but was equipped with all modern amenities. I was particularly impressed with the included minibar and the complimentary snacks, which felt like a lovely touch. The interiors felt luxurious and cozy, providing the perfect balance of nature and comfort during my stay. The attention to detail in the room décor was simply stunning, making it feel like an upscale escape.

One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning swimming pool, perfectly positioned for sunset views. The evening cocktail event by the pool was a magical experience, sipping delicious drinks as the sun dipped below the horizon. The overall ambiance was peaceful, allowing for a perfect mix of relaxation and enjoyment after a day of adventure in Yala. It truly felt like a serene oasis amidst the wilderness.

The bathroom in my Cocoon Suite was well thought out and extremely luxurious. The hot water supply was consistent and refreshing after a long day. The rustic yet elegant design blended beautifully with the tent’s overall aesthetic. It felt private and serene, truly adding to the overall luxury of the experience. I loved that every little detail was taken into account, ensuring it was both functional and stylish.
